Today and tomorrow, my fantasy novel The Arm of the Stone is a Kindle freebie. That’s right–you can download it at Amazon.com for absolutely zero dollars! (And if you like it, you can buy the sequel, The Garden of the Stone, for just $4.99.)
For those of you who prefer print books, I’m running a giveaway from today through April 22. I’ll be picking two winners in a random drawing to receive handsome trade paperback copies of BOTH The Arm of the Stone and The Garden of the Stone.
Just drop me an email, and I’ll enter you in the giveaway. Be sure to provide your mailing address (the information won’t be shared, and you won’t be added to any mailing lists).
Thanks, and happy reading!

Downloaded! Read it (I read fast and am on the train a lot haha), loved it and bought the second.
Thanks for a great story!!
Btw, even if you do not have a Kindle, there are free
indle apps you can download. I use an iPad and all i had to do was d/l the Kindle app, purchase the ebook from Amazon, and it showed up in the app! Idk what all devices it works for, but at least for iPad/iPhone, it does.
I hope the book does well. That cover might end up with some confusion with this cover though:
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-J13TXPklsuc/Tp4lQyJW7RI/AAAAAAAAA3s/awncDRQCXXk/s1600/devils-lair-cover-4.jpg which has been selling pretty well/is fairly visible in searches etc.
@ Victoria Strauss — thanks for the response. I understand your ambivalence regarding the Lending Library and exclusivity. I look forward to when it's available to all platforms again.
Thanks, just downloaded and am getting to reading now!
Awesome! I will be sure to check them out on my Kindle!
Laura–it was on the Nook, but the publisher decided to place it in the Kindle Owners Lending Library, which means it has to be exclusive to Amazon. So for the moment it's not available elsewhere (as an ebook). Sorry. I'm ambivalent about this, because I'm not sure I like the idea of exclusivity–but hopefully it'll be available on the Nook again soon.
My e-reader isn't a Kindle, so I went to B&N to buy it, but you're not even offering it there? When will an e-pub version be available?
Arm of Stone downloaded, and I shared the news on FB
Thanks for letting me know. I love the covers; they're terrific!
